Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Slice the baguette into about 1-inch thick pieces and arrange them on a baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil.
- Toast the bread in the oven for about 5-7 minutes, until golden and crispy.
- In a bowl, mix the tomatoes with minced garlic, salt, pepper, and torn basil leaves. Toss gently.
Assembly
- Once the bread is toasted and cool, top each piece with a scoop of burrata followed by the tomato mixture.
- Drizzle with balsamic glaze and sprinkle with fresh basil.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
For best results, assemble just before serving to keep the bread crunchy. You can add a sprinkle of red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
