Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar. Stir until smooth.
- Add in the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt. Stir until just combined.
- Gently fold in the crushed Butterfinger bars.
Baking
- Spread the mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish evenly.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes or until the edges turn golden brown.
- Once out of the oven, immediately drizzle the caramel sauce over the warm bars and sprinkle the chocolate chips on top.
Serving
- Let cool for at least 30 minutes before cutting into squares.
Notes
These bars store well in an airtight container for up to a week. They may taste even better the next day as the flavors meld.
