Pie Base
  • 1 package 8 oz package of cream cheese, softened Ensure it's softened for easy mixing.
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 container 16 oz container of whipped topping (like Cool Whip) For a lighter version, use light whipped topping.
  • 1 cup crushed Butterfinger candy bars Can substitute with other crunchy candies.
  • 1 9-inch graham cracker pie crust Ready-made or homemade both work.
  • 1/4 cup chocolate fudge sauce Optional, for drizzling.

Preparation
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar. Use an electric mixer to beat until smooth and creamy.
  2. Gently fold in the whipped topping until the mixture is beautifully light and airy.
  3. Crush the Butterfinger bars and fold them into your cream cheese mixture.
  4. Pour the mixture into the graham cracker pie crust and spread it evenly.
  5. Place the pie in the refrigerator to chill for at least four hours, or until firm.
  6. Once set, drizzle with chocolate fudge sauce if desired.

Notes

Butterfinger Pie is even better when made a day in advance. Use homemade whipped cream instead of store-bought for a richer taste.
