  • 1 lb raw shrimp, peeled and deveined the kind that makes your heart sing
  • 1 lb salmon fillet, skin removed and cut into 1-inch pieces
Seasoning and Oil
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning feel free to sprinkle with love
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil because flavor is key
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced hello, heavenly smell
Sauce
  • 1 cup heavy cream yes, please
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese, grated cheese makes everything better

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Toss shrimp and salmon in a bowl with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
Cooking
  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add seasoned shrimp and salmon to the skillet and cook for about 3-4 minutes until golden and cooked through. Remove from the pan and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic for about a minute until fragrant.
  4. Pour in heavy cream, stirring to combine, and bring to a gentle simmer.
  5. Stir in grated Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
  6. Return shrimp and salmon to the skillet, coating in the sauce, and cook for an additional minute to warm up.
  7. Plate the dish and sprinkle with freshly chopped parsley.

Notes

Use one pan for the whole dish to limit washing up. You can swap in other seafood like scallops or use chicken if preferred. If the sauce looks lumpy, whisk it vigorously.
