Preparation and Cooking Shrimp
- Toss the shrimp with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper in a bowl until well-coated.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and cook the shrimp for 2-3 minutes on each side until pink and opaque. Set aside.
Cooking Salmon
- Season salmon fillets with salt and pepper.
- In the same skillet, add olive oil and cook the salmon skin-side down for 4-5 minutes. Flip and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes. Remove and set aside.
Making the Garlic Cream Sauce
- Melt butter in the same skillet over medium heat, then add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and sauce thickens.
- Gently fold in the shrimp to the sauce and let warm for a minute.
Serving
- Plate the salmon fillets and generously ladle the shrimp and garlic cream sauce over the top.
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
