Main Ingredients
  • 4 slices crispy bacon Cook until golden; turkey bacon can be used as a substitute.
  • 1 medium ripe avocado, mashed or sliced Provides healthy fats.
  • 1 medium tomato, diced Fresh and juicy.
  • 1 cup chopped romaine lettuce Can substitute with other greens.
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise Greek yogurt can be used for a lighter option.
  • to taste salt and pepper Adjust according to preference.
  • optional slices of turkey or chicken For extra protein.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Toast the bagel halves to golden perfection.
  2. Crisp up your bacon in a skillet until golden, or bake at 400°F for 15-20 minutes.
  3. In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise (or Greek yogurt) with salt and pepper.
Assembly
  1. Spread the creamy mixture over toasted bagels.
  2. Layer on crispy bacon, followed by chopped lettuce and diced tomatoes.
  3. Add mashed or sliced avocado on top, seasoning with additional salt and pepper.
  4. Serve open-faced or with the other half of the bagel.
