Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare the brownie according to the box instructions. Pour into a greased 9-inch springform pan and bake for about 20 minutes.
- In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract. Beat until smooth.
- Mix in eggs one at a time, followed by the sour cream. Mix until smooth.
Cooking
- Once the brownie is slightly cooled, pour the cheesecake filling over the brownie layer and spread evenly.
- Bake for an additional 40-45 minutes until the center is set but still jiggly.
- Let cool for 1 hour, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
- Drizzle with caramel sauce just before serving.
Notes
Consider adding chocolate chips, nuts, or espresso powder to the brownie mix for extra flavor. If the cheesecake cracks, cover it up with caramel sauce for creative camouflage. It tastes even better the next day!
