Ingredients
  

Seafood mixture
  • 1 pound assorted seafood (like shrimp, crab, and scallops)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning Can substitute with paprika, celery salt, and a dash of cayenne.
  • Salt and pepper to taste
Cheese cream mixture
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
Crust
  • 1 pre-made pie crust
Garnish
  • Fresh parsley for garnish Optional but adds a gourmet touch.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, mix together your assorted seafood with garlic, lemon juice, Old Bay seasoning, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Set this seafood medley aside.
  3. In a separate saucepan over medium heat, warm the heavy cream without boiling it. Gradually stir in the Cheddar cheese until melted.
Assembly
  1. Combine the seafood mixture with the cheesy sauce in a large bowl and gently toss to coat.
  2. Pour the seafood and cheese mixture into your pre-made pie crust and spread evenly.
Baking
  1. Bake the pie for about 30-35 minutes, or until the top is bubbling and golden brown.
  2. Once baked, sprinkle some freshly chopped parsley on top and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Add vegetables like spinach or bell peppers for color. Watch baking time closely, as ovens vary.
