Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef with the diced onion until browned. Drain any excess fat, and season with salt and pepper.
- Stir in the shredded cheese and ketchup, mixing until melted and gooey.
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
- Take two triangles of dough and shape them into a skull. Place a spoonful of the cheeseburger mixture in the center of each shaped dough.
- Fold the triangles over the filling and press the edges to seal. Place them on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
Serving
- Allow to cool slightly before serving, with extra ketchup or mustard on the side.
Notes
Feel free to add diced pickles for extra crunch or swap in turkey for a lighter option. Use a skull-shaped cookie cutter for authentic shapes.
