Dry Ingredients
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
Wet Ingredients
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
  • ¾ cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons minced garlic
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
Cheese
  • 1 ½ cups shredded cheese (cheddar and mozzarella)

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, garlic powder, and salt.
  3. Add the cold, cubed butter to the flour mixture and work it into the flour until it resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Fold in the shredded cheese and create a well in the center of the mixture.
  5. Pour in the milk and mix until just combined.
  6. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of the dough onto the lined baking sheet, spacing them out.
  7. In a small bowl, melt some butter and mix in the minced garlic. Brush this over the tops of your biscuit bites.
  8. Bake for about 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
  9. Once out of the oven and slightly cooled, sprinkle with fresh parsley.
