Ingredients
Method
Cooking the Pasta
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Sautéing the Shrimp
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Toss in the garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the shrimp, season with salt and pepper, and cook until pink and opaque—about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
Making the Sauce
- In the same skillet, pour in the heavy cream and bring it to a gentle simmer.
- Stir in the mozzarella cheese and Italian seasoning, allowing it to melt and thicken into a creamy sauce.
Combining Everything
- Toss the cooked pasta in the cheese sauce, adding the shrimp back in. Stir until everything is beautifully coated in that cheesy goodness.
- Adjust seasoning with more salt and pepper if needed.
Serving
- Sprinkle fresh parsley on top for a pop of color and a dash of finesse. Serve immediately.
Notes
Don't overcook the shrimp! If they start to curl up too much, they’re overcooked. Always remember to reserve a bit of pasta water before draining. You can also mix up your cheeses like Parmesan or goat cheese for even more flavor.
