Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 package pizza dough store-bought for ease
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese because more cheese is always better
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil for that nice golden finish
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder to add a little pizzazz
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning for added flavor
For Dipping
  • Marinara sauce Marinara sauce for dipping the must-have for our bone snacks

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out your pizza dough on a floured surface into a rectangle that’s about ½ inch thick.
  3. Cut the dough into strips and shape them into bone shapes, resembling a long line with bulging ends.
  4. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese generously on top of the bone shapes. Optionally, fold the dough for a cheesy surprise in each bite.
  5. Drizzle olive oil over the tops and sprinkle with garlic powder and Italian seasoning.
Baking
  1. Place the shaped dough onto a prepared baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
  2. Let them cool slightly and serve with marinara sauce for dipping.

Notes

Make it family fun by getting the kids involved in shaping the dough. Store leftovers in an airtight container; reheat in the oven to restore crunch.
