  • 1 lb smoked sausage, sliced Any cooked sausage can be used.
  • 1 lb baby potatoes, halved Regular russet potatoes can also be used, cut into smaller chunks.
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded Add more if you prefer extra cheesy.
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix This is a key flavoring ingredient.
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil For coating the ingredients.
  • Salt and pepper to taste Adjust according to preference.
  • Fresh parsley for garnish Optional, for presentation.

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (about 200°C).
  2. In a large baking dish or sheet pan, toss the sliced sausage and halved potatoes with olive oil, ranch seasoning, salt, and pepper until well coated.
Cooking
  1. Spread the mixture out evenly on the pan and roast for about 25-30 minutes, stirring halfway through.
  2. Once the potatoes are tender and starting to brown, sprinkle the cheddar cheese over the top and return to the oven for another 5 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.

  1. Sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving and enjoy!
