Preparation
- Melt the cherry-flavored candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl, heating in 30-second intervals and stirring until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, combine softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and almond extract, blending until well mixed.
- Fold the melted candy into the cream cheese mixture until fully incorporated.
- Chill the mixture in the fridge for about 30 minutes to firm up.
- Once chilled, roll a tablespoon of the mixture into bite-sized balls.
Coating
- Dip each truffle in the extra melted candy melts and roll in crushed pecans.
- Place coated truffles on a wax paper-lined baking sheet and chill for another 15 minutes to set.

Notes
