Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a small bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
- Beat in the vanilla extract and eggs until well combined.
- Gradually blend in the dry ingredients, then stir in the chocolate chips.
Baking
- Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto ungreased baking sheets.
- Bake for 9 to 11 minutes in the preheated oven, or until the edges are golden brown.
- Cool on baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
Notes
Store cookies in an airtight container for up to a week. For chewy cookies, do not overbake.
