Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 cup pecans, finely chopped
  • 1 cup chocolate chips (semi-sweet or dark) Choose according to your preference.
  • 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/4 cup caramel sauce Store-bought or homemade.
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder For rolling the truffles.
  • Optional: Sea salt flakes For sprinkling on top

Method

Preparation Steps
  1. Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth.
  2. Once melted, add the sweetened condensed milk, salt, and caramel sauce to the chocolate. Stir until everything is beautifully combined and glossy.
  3. Fold in the finely chopped pecans.
  4. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for about 30 minutes.
  5. Scoop out about a tablespoon of the mixture and roll it into a ball, continuing until all of the mixture is formed into truffles.
  6. Roll each truffle in cocoa powder until lightly coated. Optionally roll some in crushed nuts or sprinkles.
  7. For added flavor, sprinkle a tiny pinch of sea salt on top.
  8. Refrigerate the truffles for another 30 minutes to set.

Notes

Store your truffles in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week. They can also be frozen in a single layer for about 3 months.
