  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Cooking spray (or butter) for greasing the baking dish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook your breakfast sausage links until browned and cooked through, about 8-10 minutes. Set aside on a paper towel to absorb excess grease.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, and vanilla extract. Add the cinnamon, flour, sugar, and salt, and stir until just combined.
  4. Spray a baking dish with cooking spray (or butter it) for easy release.
Assembly and Baking
  1. Dip each cooked sausage link into the batter until it’s fully coated. Place it on the prepared baking dish. Repeat until all links are in place.
  2. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the tops are golden brown and slightly puffed.
  3. Serve warm, topped with maple syrup, powdered sugar, or fresh fruit.
