Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 4 large Eggs because who doesn’t love eggs?
  • 4 slices Bacon crispy, of course
  • 2 slices Toast your choice—whole grain, sourdough, or artisan bread
  • 1 cup Fresh Fruits think berries, banana slices, or whatever you like
  • 1 ripe Avocado for that creamy addition
  • Butter or Oil for cooking, a little goes a long way

Method

Cooking the Bacon
  1. Fry the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy, about 5-7 minutes, then place on paper towels to drain excess grease.
Scrambling the Eggs
  1. In the same skillet, drain excess fat if needed, reduce the heat to low, whisk the eggs in a bowl, and pour them into the skillet. Stir gently until just set, around 3-4 minutes.
  2. For extra fluffiness, add a splash of milk.
Toasting the Bread
  1. While your eggs are cooking, pop your slices of bread in the toaster. Butter them after toasting for extra flavor if desired.
Getting Creative with Fruits
  1. Chop up your fruits and arrange them on the platter.
Plating It Up
  1. Arrange the eggs, bacon, toast, and fruits on your plate. Slice the avocado and add chunks on the side, then top it all off with a dash of salt and pepper.

Notes

Bacon Lovers Alert: If you prefer, you can bake your bacon on a baking sheet in a 400°F oven for 15-20 minutes. For egg variations, whisk in some cheese or chopped herbs. For a sweet toast twist, melt butter and sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar.
