Ingredients

Lobster Ingredients
  • 4 pieces lobster tails (6-8 oz each) Fresh or frozen, thawed if frozen.
Garlic Butter Mixture
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter Melted for mixing.
  • 4-5 cloves garlic, minced Adjust to taste.
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped For added flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice Freshly squeezed for best flavor.
  • Salt and pepper, to taste For seasoning.
  • Optional: Lemon wedges & additional parsley for garnish For serving.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Using kitchen scissors, carefully cut the top of the lobster shell down the center, stopping just before the tail. Gently lift the lobster meat out and place it on top of the shell.
  3. In a small saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over low heat. Add the minced garlic and let it simmer gently. Stir in the fresh parsley and lemon juice.
Cooking
  1. Place the lobster tails on a baking sheet lined with foil and brush the garlic butter mixture generously over each tail.
  2. Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes, or until the lobster meat is opaque and cooked through. Broil for a couple of minutes for a golden brown finish.
Serving
  1. Squeeze some lemon juice on top just before serving and garnish with lemon wedges and additional parsley if desired.

Notes

For a decadent twist, sprinkle some parmesan cheese on top before broiling. If you have leftovers, store the lobster meat in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days.
