Ingredients
  

For the Rolls
  • 1 cup warm milk (about 110°F) Substitutable with almond milk or water if needed.
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted For brushing on top after baking.
  • 1 large egg
  • 4 cups bread flour Can substitute with all-purpose flour, texture may vary.
  • 2 teaspoons instant yeast
  • 1 teaspoon salt Place on opposite side of yeast in the bread machine.
For the Cinnamon Honey Spread
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup honey

Method
 

Making the Rolls
  1. Add warm milk, melted butter, sugar, and egg into the bread machine.
  2. Add the bread flour, instant yeast, and salt, ensuring salt and yeast are on opposite sides.
  3. Select the 'Dough' setting and let the machine knead the dough for about an hour.
  4. Punch down the dough, divide into 12 equal pieces, and roll into balls.
  5. Place the dough balls in a greased baking dish and cover it with a kitchen towel.
  6. Allow the rolls to rise for about 30 minutes.
  7. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake the rolls for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
Making the Cinnamon Honey Spread
  1. In a bowl, mix softened butter, powdered sugar, cinnamon, and honey until combined.
  2. Taste test the spread and adjust as necessary.

Notes

Brush the tops of the rolls with melted butter as soon as they come out of the oven for added flavor. Store leftover rolls in an airtight container at room temperature for a couple of days, or freeze for up to 3 months.
