Making the Rolls
- Add warm milk, melted butter, sugar, and egg into the bread machine.
- Add the bread flour, instant yeast, and salt, ensuring salt and yeast are on opposite sides.
- Select the 'Dough' setting and let the machine knead the dough for about an hour.
- Punch down the dough, divide into 12 equal pieces, and roll into balls.
- Place the dough balls in a greased baking dish and cover it with a kitchen towel.
- Allow the rolls to rise for about 30 minutes.
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake the rolls for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
Making the Cinnamon Honey Spread
- In a bowl, mix softened butter, powdered sugar, cinnamon, and honey until combined.
- Taste test the spread and adjust as necessary.
Notes
Brush the tops of the rolls with melted butter as soon as they come out of the oven for added flavor. Store leftover rolls in an airtight container at room temperature for a couple of days, or freeze for up to 3 months.
