Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 2 pieces lobster tails
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced because who can resist garlic?
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper optional for that extra kick!
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice for a zesty pop
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley for garnish
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method

Preparation
  1. First, grab your lobster tails and place them on a cutting board. Using a sharp kitchen scissors or a knife, carefully cut down the center of the shell from the top to the base, making sure not to cut all the way through the tail. Pull apart the shell to expose the lobster meat.
Making the Cowboy Butter
  1. In a small bowl, mix the melted butter with minced garlic, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper (if using), lemon juice, and a pinch of salt and pepper.
Baking the Lobster Tails
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Place the lobster tails on a baking sheet and drizzle them generously with the cowboy butter. Bake for about 12-15 minutes, or until the lobster meat is opaque and tender.
Serving
  1. Once the lobster tails are done, remove them from the oven and sprinkle with fresh parsley for garnish.

Notes

You can swap lobster tails for shrimp or crab legs if needed. Pair with a simple green salad or crusty bread for soaking up the cowboy butter.
