Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, milk, breadcrumbs, onion, bell pepper, eggs, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix until everything is nicely blended.
- Transfer the mixture into a loaf pan and shape it into a loaf.
- Spread a layer of ketchup over the top.
- Place the meatloaf in the preheated oven and bake for about 1 hour, until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
- Remove from the oven and let the meatloaf rest for about 10 minutes before slicing.
Notes
Don't overmix while combining the ingredients. You can customize this meatloaf by adding additional ingredients like mushrooms or cheese. If it seems dry, adjust the moisture with milk or broth.
