- Gather all ingredients for easy access while cooking.
Assembly
- Spread softened butter on one side of each slice of bread.
- On the non-buttered side of two slices, layer brie, fresh mozzarella, and cranberry sauce, then sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Top with the other bread slices, buttered side up.
Grilling
- Heat skillet over medium heat and place the sandwich in the skillet.
- Press down gently with a spatula and cook for about 3-4 minutes until golden brown.
- Flip and repeat on the other side until cheese is melty.
Serving
- Remove from skillet, slice in half and serve immediately while warm.
Notes
For extra crispiness, use a panini press. This recipe is great for utilizing leftover cranberry sauce or trying it with cranberry jam for a sweeter twist.
