Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 2 slices slices of bread Sourdough is preferred, but use any available.
  • 2 ounces brie cheese, sliced
  • 1 ounce fresh mozzarella cheese, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons cranberry sauce Can be homemade or store-bought.
  • 1 tablespoon butter For spreading on the bread.
  • 1 dash salt Optional, enhances flavor.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
  2. On the unbuttered side of one slice, layer brie slices, followed by mozzarella, and then top with cranberry sauce.
  3. Place the other slice of bread on top, buttered side facing out.
Cooking
  1. Preheat a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
  2. Place the sandwich in the pan and cook for about 3-4 minutes, or until golden brown.
  3. Carefully flip the sandwich and cook for another 3-4 minutes.
  4. Remove the sandwich from the pan, let it cool briefly, slice in half, and enjoy.

Notes

Cooking on medium heat helps the cheese melt properly without burning the bread. Customize with other cheeses or add-ins like herbs or spices.
