Ingredients
  

Crostini Base
  • 1 loaf French baguette (or a loaf of your choice) Sliced into 1/2 inch thick slices
Toppings
  • 8 ounces Brie cheese Creamy and rich in flavor
  • 1 cup cranberry sauce Homemade or store-bought
  • 4 ounces prosciutto Thinly sliced
  • to taste Fresh rosemary or thyme For garnish
  • to taste A drizzle of honey Optional but enhances flavor

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Slice your baguette into 1/2 inch thick slices.
  3. Arrange the slices on a baking sheet and toast in the oven for about 5-7 minutes, or until golden brown and crisp.
Assembly
  1. Spread a generous layer of Brie on each toasted slice.
  2. Top with a spoonful of cranberry sauce.
  3. Drape a slice (or two) of prosciutto over each crostini.
  4. Sprinkle with fresh rosemary or thyme for garnish.
  5. Drizzle with honey if desired.
Serving
  1. Serve immediately while the toast is still warm and crispy.

Notes

Variations are welcome; you can substitute Brie with Camembert or goat cheese, and prosciutto can be replaced with roasted veggies for a vegan option. Prepare toppings ahead if short on time.
