Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Lightly flour your work surface and roll out the sheet of puff pastry to fit your Brie cheese.
- In a bowl, combine the cranberry sauce, chopped pecans, and brown sugar (if using). Mix well.
- Place the Brie in the center of the puff pastry. Spoon the cranberry-pecan mixture on top.
- Fold the edges of the puff pastry up and over the Brie, pinching it closed at the top.
- Whisk the egg and gently brush it over the puff pastry.
Baking
- Place the wrapped Brie on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for about 25-30 minutes, until golden brown and puffed.
- Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
Make ahead: Assemble a few hours in advance but wait to brush on the egg wash until ready to bake. Leftover cranberry sauce can be used creatively in smoothies or on toast.
