Preparation
- Chill your glasses by placing them in the freezer for 10 minutes.
- In a large pitcher, combine the cranberry juice, pineapple juice, and lime juice. Stir well.
- Sweeten the mixture by adding simple syrup or honey a little at a time, tasting as you go.
- Add ice to the pitcher or fill individual glasses with ice.
- Just before serving, gently stir in the sparkling water or club soda to preserve the fizz.
- Garnish each glass with fresh cranberries and a pineapple wedge. Optionally, add a rosemary sprig or a lime wheel.
- If desired, pour 1-2 ounces of rum or vodka per serving.
Notes
Taste as you go to balance the sweetness. Use cold juices to preserve fizz longer. Make-ahead tips are included for easy preparation.
