  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley or chives for garnish Optional but adds a gorgeous touch

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Rinse and chop the cabbage into wedges. Arrange them neatly in a baking dish.
Making the Cream Sauce
  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  2. Pour the cream sauce over the cabbage, ensuring each wedge is coated. Top with the crispy bacon and shredded cheese.
Baking
  1. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and place it in the oven. Bake for about 45 minutes.
  2. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
Serving
  1. Once out of the oven, sprinkle fresh parsley or chives on top. Serve warm.

Notes

You can layer different seasonings or add onion for extra flavor. Experiment with different cheeses for unique variations. Don't worry about the sauce looking lumpy; it's all about the flavor!
