Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and spray a 9x13 inch baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
Assembling the dessert
  1. Unroll one can of crescent roll dough and lay it flat on the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and egg. Mix until creamy and smooth.
  3. Spread the cheesecake filling evenly over the first layer of crescent rolls.
  4. Unroll the second can of crescent rolls and place it on top of the cheesecake filling.
  5. Bake in preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
Finishing touches
  1. Remove from oven and let cool for a few minutes. Mix powdered sugar with a splash of milk or vanilla extract until smooth and drizzle over the dessert.
  2. Serve warm with fresh berries or a drizzle of chocolate sauce.
