Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and spray a 9x13 inch baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
Assembling the dessert
- Unroll one can of crescent roll dough and lay it flat on the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
- In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and egg. Mix until creamy and smooth.
- Spread the cheesecake filling evenly over the first layer of crescent rolls.
- Unroll the second can of crescent rolls and place it on top of the cheesecake filling.
- Bake in preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
Finishing touches
- Remove from oven and let cool for a few minutes. Mix powdered sugar with a splash of milk or vanilla extract until smooth and drizzle over the dessert.
