  • 1 package 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups 2 cups whipped topping (like Cool Whip)
  • 1 can 1 can (21 oz) cherry pie filling Reserve half for topping
For topping (optional)
  • Graham cracker crumbs For optional topping

Preparation
  1. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth.
  2. Gradually add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, continuing to beat until well-combined.
  3. Gently fold in the whipped topping to maintain fluffiness.
  4. Fold in half of the cherry pie filling, reserving the remainder for topping.
  5. Transfer to a serving bowl or individual cups and chill in the fridge for about an hour.
  6. Before serving, top with remaining cherry pie filling and graham cracker crumbs if desired.

Notes

Craving a different flavor? You can swap cherry pie filling for blueberries, strawberries, or mixed berries. This dessert can be made a day in advance and stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
