  • 1 package 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup 1 cup sour cream Can substitute with Greek yogurt for a lighter version.
  • 1 packet 1 (1 oz) packet ranch seasoning mix
Flavor Enhancers
  • 1 cup 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup 1 cup cooked bacon, crumbled Feel free to add more bacon if desired.
  • ½ cup ½ cup green onions, chopped Can substitute with chives or jalapeños.
Optional Ingredients
  • Crushed red pepper For a little kick.

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, and ranch seasoning. Use a hand mixer or spatula to mix until smooth.
  2. Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, and chopped green onions.
  3. Cover the dip and let it chill in the fridge for about 30 minutes.
  4. After chilling, give it a quick stir and serve with chips, veggies, or your choice of accompaniments.

Notes

You can make the dip a day in advance and store it in an airtight container in the fridge. The flavors improve as it sits. Consider adding diced tomatoes or black olives for extra flavor.
