Cooking the Bacon
- In a large skillet over medium heat, add your chopped bacon. Cook until it’s crispy and golden, about 5-7 minutes.
Sautéing the Mushrooms
- Remove the bacon from the skillet, leaving the drippings behind. Add the mushrooms to the skillet and sauté for about 5 minutes until softened and slightly browned.
Adding the Garlic
- Toss in the minced garlic and cook for another 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
Incorporating the Cream
- Pour in the heavy cream, stirring everything together. Allow it to simmer for 2-3 minutes.
Mixing in the Cheese
- Gradually stir in the grated Parmesan until melted. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Final Touch
- Just before serving, add the crispy bacon back to the skillet and mix everything well.
Serving
- Transfer to a serving dish and sprinkle with freshly chopped parsley to garnish.
Notes
Give mushrooms space to brown instead of overcrowding the pan. Store leftovers in an airtight container for 3-4 days in the fridge. Reheat gently in a skillet.
