Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 4 pieces boneless chicken breasts
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil for cooking
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced adds flavor
  • 1 cup heavy cream for creaminess
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese key flavor component
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs or preferred herbs
  • Fresh parsley for garnish for presentation

Method

Preparation
  1. Season your chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
Cooking
  1. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Place the chicken in the pan and cook for about 7-8 minutes on one side until it's golden. Flip and cook for another 5-7 minutes until the chicken is fully cooked.
  3. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set it aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and cook for about a minute until aromatic.
  5. Lower the heat and pour in the heavy cream, stirring well and scraping any brown bits off the pan.
  6. Add the Parmesan cheese and dried herbs, stirring until creamy.
  7. Return the chicken to the skillet and let it sit in the sauce for a few minutes.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.

Notes

Taste your sauce before serving to adjust seasoning. You can substitute heavy cream with half-and-half or coconut milk for a lighter version. Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for 2-3 days.
