Preparation
- Season your chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
Cooking
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
- Place the chicken in the pan and cook for about 7-8 minutes on one side until it's golden. Flip and cook for another 5-7 minutes until the chicken is fully cooked.
- Remove the chicken from the skillet and set it aside.
- In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and cook for about a minute until aromatic.
- Lower the heat and pour in the heavy cream, stirring well and scraping any brown bits off the pan.
- Add the Parmesan cheese and dried herbs, stirring until creamy.
- Return the chicken to the skillet and let it sit in the sauce for a few minutes.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
Notes
Taste your sauce before serving to adjust seasoning. You can substitute heavy cream with half-and-half or coconut milk for a lighter version. Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for 2-3 days.
