Preparation
- Start by seasoning the sliced steak with salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add the olive oil.
Cooking
- Add the steak slices to the skillet and sear for about 3-4 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the shrimp and season lightly with salt and pepper. Cook for 2-3 minutes until they’re pink and curled. Remove and set aside with the steak.
- Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 30 seconds.
- Lower the heat, pour in the heavy cream, and stir. Add Italian seasoning and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes until thickened.
- Toss the steak and shrimp back into the skillet, stir, and let it cook for another 2-3 minutes in the sauce.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot. Squeeze a lemon wedge over the top for extra flavor.
Notes
Prep all ingredients beforehand as this dish cooks very quickly. A splash of lemon juice can add freshness to the dish. If the sauce appears lumpy, it's just the garlic; it will blend nicely.
