- In a large pot, heat the butter and olive oil over medium heat. Toss in the diced onions and garlic, cooking until they’re soft and fragrant.
- Add your diced tomatoes, shrimp, and lobster meat. Stir gently to combine and let it all simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Add the heavy cream and Worcestershire sauce. Stir to combine.
- Taste your bisque and season with salt and pepper. If desired, add red pepper flakes.
- Ladle your bisque into bowls and garnish with fresh parsley. Serve with crusty bread or over a bed of rice.
Notes
Don’t rush the sautéing of the onions and garlic for better flavor. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for about 3 days, and flavors will deepen over time.
