Cooking Steps
- Fill a large pot with salted water and bring it to a boil. Gently add your ravioli and cook according to package instructions, usually about 3-5 minutes or until they float.
- While the ravioli is cooking, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream and stir in the sun-dried tomatoes. Let everything simmer gently for about 3-4 minutes.
- Once your ravioli is cooked, drain it and gently add it to the skillet with the creamy mixture. Toss together until every ravioli is coated in the sauce.
- Sprinkle in the grated Parmesan cheese and season with salt and pepper to taste. Stir gently until cheese is melted and everything is combined.
- Plate your ravioli and garnish with fresh basil if desired. Serve warm.
Notes
For ingredient substitutions, fresh cherry tomatoes work as a substitute for sun-dried tomatoes, and you can use half-and-half instead of heavy cream. Feel free to add spinach or mushrooms to enhance the dish.
