  • 1 tablespoon baking powder This is the secret to the crisp!
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika Add more if you like it zesty!
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

  • favorite wing sauces (Buffalo, barbecue, or honey mustard) For tossing or serving on the side.

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the baking powder, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and black pepper. Toss the dried wings in this seasoning mix until they’re evenly coated.
  4. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top.
Baking
  1. Arrange the wings on the wire rack and bake for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway through.
Serving
  1. Toss the wings in your favorite sauce if desired, or serve the sauces on the side for dipping.

Notes

Invest in a good wire rack for better air circulation. Season wings the night before for added flavor. Keep an eye on the cooking time as ovens may vary.
