Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, toss the halved Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and pepper to fully coat.
- Spread the sprouts out in a single layer on a baking sheet.
Cooking
- Roast the Brussels sprouts in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
- Meanwhile, whisk together the balsamic vinegar, honey, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes in a small bowl.
- After 20 minutes, remove the baking sheet from the oven and drizzle the balsamic-honey mixture over the sprouts. Toss to coat evenly.
- Return the sprouts to the oven and roast for an additional 10 minutes until caramelized.
- Remove from the oven and serve warm.
Notes
For best results, use fresh Brussels sprouts. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days and reheat in the oven. Feel free to add grated Parmesan or nuts for added flavor!
