Preparation
- In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, sugar, and cinnamon until blended and frothy.
- Take two slices of bread and layer them with a slice of cheese, ham, and another slice of cheese on top. Cap with another slice of bread to form a sandwich.
Cooking
- Dip each side of the sandwiches into the egg mixture, soaking briefly.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, melt a tablespoon of butter. Add the sandwiches and cook until golden brown on each side.
- Transfer cooked sandwiches to a plate and dust with powdered sugar.
