Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 3-4 lbs pork roast (shoulder or butt)
  • 1 packet ranch dressing mix
  • 1 packet gravy mix the more flavorful, the better!
  • 1 stick unsalted butter because everything's better with butter
  • 5-6 pieces pepperoncini peppers or to taste
  • Salt and pepper optional, to taste

Method

Preparation
  1. Start by placing the pork roast in your trusty crock pot. No need to sear it first.
  2. Sprinkle the ranch dressing mix and gravy mix over the top of the roast.
  3. Toss in the stick of butter right on top.
  4. Place the pepperoncini peppers on top.
  5. Cover and cook on low for about 8 hours or on high for 4 hours.
  6. When done, shred the pork in the pot and mix to soak in the juices.
  7. Serve on a bun, over rice, or with vegetables.

Notes

You can swap ranch mix for homemade seasoning (garlic powder, onion powder, and herbs). Add vegetables for extra flavor. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days.
