Preparation
- Start by giving your ribs a quick rinse and patting them dry.
- In a small bowl, mix together brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Rub this blend all over the ribs.
Cooking
- Pour half of the BBQ sauce into the bottom of the crockpot. Lay the seasoned ribs in, and drizzle the remaining sauce over the top.
- Put the lid on and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 4-5 hours. The low setting is recommended.
- When the ribs are done, remove them from the crockpot and place them on a baking sheet. Broil in the oven for about 5 minutes for a crispy finish.
Notes
Make adjustments to spice and flavor based on family preferences. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3-4 days.
