Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 2 pounds pork tenderloin
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish Optional

Method

Preparation
  1. Rinse the pork tenderloin and pat it dry with paper towels. Season generously with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
Sauce Preparation
  1. In a bowl, whisk together brown sugar, balsamic vinegar, soy sauce, and Dijon mustard.
Crockpot Cooking
  1. Place the seasoned pork tenderloin into the crockpot and pour the sauce over it, ensuring it is well coated.
  2. Cover the crockpot and set it on low for 6 to 8 hours.
Finishing Touches
  1. Once done, remove the tenderloin and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
  2. Slice the pork, drizzle with sauce from the crockpot, and garnish with fresh parsley.

Notes

Letting the pork rest helps retain juiciness and allows time to prepare side dishes. Leftovers can be used in sandwiches or salads. Adjust sweetness with extra balsamic vinegar or salt if needed.
