Preparation
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, chopped onions, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, milk, eggs, Worcestershire sauce, French onion soup mix, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.
- Form the mixture into a loaf shape and place it into the slow cooker.
Cooking
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours.
- About 30 minutes before it's done, lay the Swiss cheese slices on top and cover to let the cheese melt.
Serving
- Once cooked, carefully transfer the meatloaf to a platter, slice, and serve with your favorite sides.
Notes
For a flavor boost, consider adding garlic or herbs to the mixture. Leftover meatloaf makes excellent sandwiches.
