- In a bowl, mix the chocolate graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and granulated sugar until they resemble damp sand. Press this mixture firmly into the bottom of your serving dish.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with powdered sugar until smooth. Slowly add the Baileys Irish Cream and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Gently fold this whipped cream into your cheesecake mixture until it’s beautifully combined.
- Start by adding a layer of your cheesecake filling over the chocolate crust. Smooth it out, then add another layer of chocolate crust on top. Repeat this process, alternating layers, until all ingredients are used, finishing with a cheesecake layer at the top.
- Top with dollops of whipped cream, and sprinkle some chocolate shavings or cocoa powder as a finishing touch.
Notes
Chill trifle for at least 4 hours or overnight for best results. You may customize the crust and substitute ingredients as desired.
