  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup water
  • 3 large eggs

  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1 container (8 oz) whipped topping

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the chocolate cake mix, vegetable oil, water, and eggs. Blend until smooth.
Baking
  1. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Fudge Infusion
  1. Once the cake has cooled for about 15 minutes, poke holes all over the surface using the end of a wooden spoon.
  2. In a small saucepan over low heat, combine the sweetened condensed milk and chocolate chips. Stir until melted and combined.
  3. Pour the fudge over the poked cake, ensuring it seeps into the holes.
Finishing Touches
  1. Allow the cake to cool completely, then cover with whipped topping and sprinkle chocolate shavings or colorful sprinkles on top.
  2. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
