- Once the cake has cooled for about 15 minutes, poke holes all over the surface using the end of a wooden spoon.
- In a small saucepan over low heat, combine the sweetened condensed milk and chocolate chips. Stir until melted and combined.
- Pour the fudge over the poked cake, ensuring it seeps into the holes.

- Allow the cake to cool completely, then cover with whipped topping and sprinkle chocolate shavings or colorful sprinkles on top.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
