Ingredients
  

Meat and Marinade
  • 2 pounds flank steak (or any steak you fancy) You can substitute flank steak with sirloin or ribeye.
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped Optional, but adds a lovely touch.
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 squeeze lemon juice Adds a little zing!
Garlic Butter
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced Fresh garlic brings a punch of flavor.

Method
 

Marinating the Steak
  1. Season the flank steak with salt, black pepper, and a squeeze of lemon juice. Let it marinate for about 30 minutes.
Preparing the Garlic Butter
  1. In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the unsalted butter. Once melted, add the minced garlic and cook for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
Cooking the Steak
  1. Heat a grill or pan over medium-high heat and cook the marinated steak for about 5-7 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until it reaches your desired doneness.
  2. During the last couple of minutes of cooking, brush the garlic butter all over the steak.
Finishing Touches
  1. Let the steak rest for about 5 minutes before slicing it against the grain.
  2. Sprinkle the chopped parsley on top before serving.

Notes

Feel free to add your favorite sides—like fluffy mashed potatoes or a fresh garden salad. Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat gently to keep it tender.
