  • 6 oz goat cheese (softened) Ensure it’s softened for easy mixing.
  • 1 tbsp fresh thyme (or rosemary) Choose rosemary if preferred.
  • 2 tbsp honey Use good quality honey.
  • ¼ cup walnuts (chopped) Adds a crunchy texture.
  • 1 French baguette sliced into bite-sized pieces Perfectly sized for classy eating.
  • to taste salt and pepper For seasoning.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Place the sliced baguette on a baking sheet and toast for about 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
Mixing
  1. In a medium bowl, mix the softened goat cheese with fresh thyme (or rosemary) and sprinkle in a dash of salt and pepper.
Assembly
  1. Spread a generous amount of the herby goat cheese mixture on each toasted baguette slice.
  2. Top each slice with chopped walnuts.
  3. Drizzle honey over each bite.
  4. Plate the bites and serve.

Notes

For variations, try mixing in herbs de Provence or a hint of garlic in the cheese. These bites are best fresh, store the cheese mixture separately from the bread to avoid sogginess.
