Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Lightly flour your countertop and roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle.
- Using a tree-shaped cookie cutter, cut the dough into tree shapes.
Assembly
- Place half of the tree cutouts on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Spread a spoonful of pizza sauce on each tree, sprinkle cheese, and top with pepperoni or other toppings.
- Cover each decorated tree with another tree cutout, pinching the edges to seal.
- Brush each tree with the beaten egg.
Baking
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes or until puffed and golden.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
- Optional: Garnish with fresh basil and additional cheese.
Notes
Assemble ahead of time and refrigerate. Bake just before serving. Customize with favorite toppings!
