Main Ingredients
  • 1 wheel Brie cheese
  • 0.5 cup fig preserves
  • 0.5 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 tbsp fresh rosemary more if desired
  • 1 sheet puff pastry store-bought is fine
  • 1 drizzle honey optional but recommended
  • to taste slices baguette or crackers for serving

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Roll out the pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface.
  3. Place the wheel of Brie in the center of the pastry. Spread fig preserves over the top, and sprinkle with chopped pecans and rosemary.
  4. Gently fold the puff pastry over the cheese, sealing it well. Create decorative shapes if desired.
  5. Place the wrapped Brie on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
  6. Drizzle honey over the baked Brie before serving.
  7. Cut into the crust and serve warm with baguette or crackers.

Notes

Pecans can be substituted with walnuts. You can make it ahead and store in the fridge until baking. Personalize with additional toppings like dried cranberries or a sprinkle of cinnamon.
