Preparation
- Begin by dividing your ground beef into 8 equal portions. Roll them into balls and flatten them into patties (about ¼ inch thick).
- Generously season both sides of your patties with salt and black pepper.
Cooking
- Heat a skillet or grill over medium-high heat and place the patties on it.
- Cook for 3-4 minutes on one side until they have a lovely crust.
- Flip the patties, add a slice of cheese on top of each, and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
Assembly
- Place two patties on the bottom half of each toasted bun.
- Top with your chosen toppings and don’t forget the ketchup and mustard.
- Put the top half of the bun on and enjoy!
